Job Summary:

 

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst whose main focus will be to work on corporate applications as well as projects relating to back-end systems. The BA’s role will consist in understanding the business vision and working together with stakeholders in developing and implementing an innovative roadmap of initiatives. This person will play an important role in a broad range of projects around HR, Finance, and Store Operations applications.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand, analyze, and communicate business requirements to ensure alignment between store systems, Product Managers, and development teams;
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders in providing recommendations and suggestions for optimization of store systems, applications, and business processes;
  • Collect, define, analyze, and validate application requirements and business rules to ensure business needs are met;
  • Monitor project progress by identifying key milestones, phases, and elements within a given sprint, and recommending iteration deliveries;
  • Analyze and understand the upstream and downstream implications of any changes being proposed in order to accurately assess impacts to surrounding systems;
  • Together with the Product Manager, create and prioritize the user stories for a given initiative and participate in all related ceremonies;
  • Actively participate in the definition of test strategies and scenarios to support test execution with the QA team and business stakeholders;
  • Provide level 3 support on operational incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Having participated in the implementation of ERP or OMS application is an asset;
  • Work well independently and take initiative without the need for close supervision and/or guidance;
  • Demonstrate creative and innovative “out of the box” thinking;
  • Demonstrate ease of establishing relationships and building strong credibility with business teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners;
  • Have a proven ability to work well under pressure, remain level-headed, and manage impediments with ease;
  • Be forward thinking and resourceful to ensure all initiatives are delivered in the most cost-effective and timely manner;
  • Have exceptional communication skills, with a particular focus on delivering information concisely to multiple different levels of stakeholders;
  • Be a person who thrives in a challenging and continuously evolving IT environment.
