Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Field Operations and Programs, the Omni-Channel Operations Specialist is responsible for operationalizing all omni-channel initiatives at the store level, optimizing in-store processes, and providing day-to-day support to our stores. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience across all our retail channels, including brick-and-mortar stores, E-commerce, and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong understanding of retail operations, logistics, and technology.


Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor the performance of omni-channel fulfillment (SFS, BOPIS, Uber, S2S, etc.) daily and escalate opportunities to improve the customer experience;
  • Generate and analyze key performance indicators related to omni-channel activities, identifying areas for improvement and offering solutions;
  • Provide support and training to store teams on omni-channel processes and technologies by handling Jira tickets and ensuring their resolution in a timely manner;
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs;
  • In partnership with the Logistics team, enable omni-channel operations for new stores;
  • In partnership with the Omni-Channel team, help establish, prepare, and communicate the omni-channel fulfillment strategy during peak times (summer sale, BFCM, BD, etc.) and ensure that all changes required in the back-end system are executed smoothly;
  • Act as a SME for the order management and point-of-sale systems;
  • Serve as a key driver of change by leading the development and implementation of new initiatives or process optimizations in-store, including:
  • Challenge the status quo during the testing phase;
  • Create training material;
  • Determine a roll-out strategy;
  • Develop a communication plan;
  • Lead the proof of concept pilot;
  • Communicate the plan;
  • Monitore and adjust it post-deployment;
  • Provide visibility on its progress to field partners on a regular basis;
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Operations Department and other departments to support various projects and initiatives;
  • Work on any related tasks to ensure an optimized customer experience.


Qualifications:

 

  • University degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Retail Management;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec;
  • 2+ years of experience in operations/support or business analysis
  • Subject matter expertise in retail business is an asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Proficiency in retail management software, inventory/retail management systems, and/or order management systems (e.g.,
  • Manhattan SCALE, Oracle, RMS, etc.);
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Sigma);
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel retail concepts and best practices;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams;
  • Ability to effectively multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to thrive in the face of change, with a strong sense of urgency.
