Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a dynamic Outbound Logistics Coordinator responsible for managing all outbound shipments from our retail stores and Head Office. The ideal candidate will verify compliance with Canadian and U.S. import/export regulations, create accurate export documentation as needed, and ensure timely deliveries through express and road carriers.

 


Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage outbound logistics billing, including reviewing and processing carrier invoices, and oversee GL coding;
  • Ensure proper documentation is available for customs clearance in cross-border shipments and follow up with shippers to resolve missing documentation;
  • Support internal teams by handling Jira ticket requests efficiently;
  • Coordinate daily U.S. load clearances with the Distribution Centre (DC)/Customs team;
  • Maintain accurate accounts and keep the business informed of key merchandise movements and potential delays;
  • Update and track weekly outbound logistics KPIs;
  • Monitor daily pickup and delivery data, swiftly resolving carrier issues to prevent disruptions in Ecommerce order fulfillment;
  • Oversee and coordinate the claims process with carriers;
  • Coordinate reverse logistics with a 3PL provider;
  • Communicate proactively with distribution centres to improve supply chain processes;
  • Generate UPS/Purolator waybills for ad hoc Head Office/DC requests;
  • Prepare air or Saturday delivery waybills upon request from the DC/Allocation team.

 

'Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
  • 2+ years of experience in outbound logistics, including handling customs brokers;
  • Strong understanding of world geography and import/export documentation;
  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
