Job Summary:
As the Senior Director of Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, you will be a key player in shaping the future of our company by leveraging advanced data science techniques and artificial intelligence to gain insights, optimize operations, and enhance the overall customer experience. This role sits at the intersection of technology and fashion, providing a unique opportunity to influence both sectors.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the overall business objectives;
- Drive the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning into business processes to gain a competitive advantage.
2. Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and AI specialists;
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data and analytics team.
3. Data Science Applications:
- Identify and implement data-driven solutions to optimize inventory management, supply chain, and pricing strategies;
- Develop predictive models to forecast customer trends, preferences, and purchasing behaviors.
4. AI-driven Customer Experience:
- Spearhead initiatives to personalize the customer journey through AI-driven recommendations, personalized marketing, and enhanced user experiences;
- Utilize AI technologies to enhance customer service, including chatbots, virtual assistants, and personalized product recommendations.
5. Technology Integration:
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data science applications and AI solutions into existing systems and processes;
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data science and artificial intelligence to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role;
- Proven track record of successfully implementing data science solutions in a retail environment.
3. Skills:
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills;
- Proficiency in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools;
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the retail industry, with a focus on fashion and consumer trends.
