Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Consumer Insights and Analytics, the Sr. Analyst, Customer Data will act as reference when it comes to data querying and analysis as well as be the liaison with the Data team (IT).
The Consumer Insights team is responsible for customer-focused insights and providing actionable recommendations to inform and support decision-making within the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analysis and methodology – Design and program research or analysis methodologies to answer business questions (customer behaviour, cohort tracking, incrementality) using SQL and Power BI. Prepare comprehensive reports with visualizations that effectively communicate insights for stakeholders.
- SQL and analysis mentorship – Support the other team members with complex queries and methodologies. Document and maintain best practices and methodologies.
- Customer and loyalty data strategy – Be an active collaborator and business partner with the Data team for the organization's customer data strategy, including its structure, nomenclature, taxonomy, and derivative metrics that are the foundation of our business needs for customer reporting, deep-dive analysis, and possible future personalization.
- Data for unified customer profiles – Drive the strategy, documentation, and maintenance of the data structure component of the customer data profiles as well as the integration of customer journey tracking, which are meant to power the organization's personalization projects. Work in collaboration with the CRM, Product Owner (tool stack), CRM, Business Manager (business strategy), Customer Care, Store Ops, and others on the ideal data capture sources, nomenclature, and consistent, clean field records with the dual purpose of also supporting segmentation and downstream data analysis.
- Customer data management and data governance – Develop a customer data governance framework, working with IT partners and data consumers to improve data consistency quality, integrity, and privacy compliance that are useful for cleaner, simplified data analysis that also responds to business priorities.
- Data quality and up time – Build tools and processes to monitor data integrity and accuracy across reports and source databases to build trust in adopting our customer data.
- Customer data democratization – Deliver tools and solutions that further enable self-serve access to customer data reporting, analysis, and insights to help entrench a customer-mindset across the organization.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is required to be able to communicate with American suppliers and consultants abroad;
- Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and statistical analysis;
- Statistical analysis skills;
- Ability to communicate with various internal stakeholders;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to coordinate several projects at a time;
- Autonomous;
- Desire to learn and curiosity;
- Knowledge of GA4, SOQL, Python, and R Sigma is an asset;
- Prior experience in consumer analytics in the context of fashion retail is an asset.5 years of experience in a similar role;
