Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Physical Security Coordinator to join the Physical Security team. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This is a Monday to Friday on-site position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Physical Security Manager during store openings, renovations, relocations, closings, and other project rollouts;
- Communicate with vendors on all installations for security equipment;
- Coordinate all physical security requests and emergencies such as alarms, cameras, EAS, cameras, anti-theft devices, safes, keys, and security guards;
- Monitor all physical security equipment.
- Analyze and troubleshoot all Jira requests promptly and accordingly and ensure all is documented;
- Responsible for dispatching the suitable subcontractor for any service calls and ensuring reasonable costs;
- Maintain an up-to-date list of all security equipment;
- Provide support for all Head Office requests, access cards, ID cards, security guards, visitors and the Physical Security apps.
- Create reports for our access cards, alarms, cameras, turnstile systems;
- Respond to emergency calls received on the physical security cell phone for Head Office and stores (after-hours security guards) for events;
- Access and review security camera footage as required to support investigations and ensure the safety and security of our premises;
- Collaborate with management to update and enforce security protocols;
- Join the Head Office’s emergency evacuation team.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience;
- Previous experience working as a Security guard (an asset);
- Knowledge of security protocols and systems;
- Ability to respond to security incidents promptly and effectively;
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with all staff;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.
