Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Director, Field  Operations & Programs, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Training & Development Specialist who can create, host, and provide entertaining and engaging training programs. Main Responsibilities: 

  • Create training content, facilitation guides, and quick reference tools that reflect each brand’s DNA and are aligned with their respective values, vision, and mission. Ensure that this content is interesting and adapted to the target audience to capture their attention on topics such as customer service, app use, product knowledge, seasonal campaigns, etc.;
  • Host training sessions and interactive videos, making every part engaging and exciting;
  • Draft and implement training initiatives that optimize sales performance and help employees achieve their professional development goals in a fun way;
  • Act as a change ambassador, guiding teams in the roll-out of training programs for exciting new initiatives;
  • Actively participate in the transition to a new training and development system, facilitating every step of the process;
  • Analyze and identify training opportunities using existing material to close performance gaps;
  • Adapt training programs to comply with policies and procedures and keep them up to date at all times;
  • Follow up with District Managers monthly to make sure that they are keeping track of training completion in their respective markets;
  • Collaborate with various internal partners to help create and update training content related to their department;
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to adapt and incorporate mandatory and country-, province-, or state-specific training programs;
  • Manage support tickets to ensure that stores have access to training material and platforms;
  • Respect the training budget when creating and rolling out effective and appealing content for stores;
  • Work closely with the Sales and Operations team as well as other departments to support our innovative projects and initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in the retail industry is an asset;
  • Facilitation skills;
  • Knowledge of learning management systems;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Acrobat applications (Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Pro) is an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentations, emails);
  • Highly creative and detail-oriented;
  • Ability to quickly resolve issues in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to multitask effectively;
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Proven ability to implement initiatives;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
