Job Summary:

As a Store Planning and Labour Optimization Analyst, you will play a key role in tracking and analyzing store performance metrics, with a particular focus on RFID project implementation and labour scheduling. You will collaborate closely with the RFID and Hours Planning teams, Field Regional Directors (RDs), District Managers (DMs), and Store Managers (SMs) to enhance operational efficiencies.

 

Your responsibilities will include the development of tracking tools as well as the identification of opportunities to ensure process improvement. You will also provide support and follow up with the stores to make sure that they meet key performance indicators and operational efficiency requirements.



Responsibilities:

 

Reporting:

  • Update RFID and Labour reports;
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
  • Develop RFID and Labour reports to highlight potential challenges and action points;
  • Collaborate with the IT & AI team to automate reporting processes;
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on action plans.


Training:

  • Prepare training materials for store leadership;
  • Conduct training sessions for RDs, DMs, and SMs;
  • Ensure the proper implementation and understanding of new processes in the field.

 

Store visits:

  • Visit stores to understand daily processes and implement best practices;
  • Spend time with SMs and store teams to identify potential opportunities regarding labour optimization;
  • Assess and strengthen the connection between RFID processes, store operations, and labour management.

 


Qualifications:

  • College or university degree preferred;
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in retail management;
  • Experience as a store manager in a retail store;
  • Experience in working with RFID in-store, specifically for inventory management;
  • Experience in organizing and preparing store schedules;
  • Ability to work with numbers and formulas;
  • Store experience preferred;
  • RFID experience with gStore preferred;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Highly organized and efficient;
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and their Google equivalent;
  • Sense of urgency and excellent stress management skills;
  • Ability to quickly adapt to situations and people;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with employees and partners, both within and outside of Quebec.
