Job Summary:
As the Print Production Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating printing projects, communicating with interdepartmental leads, managing distribution lists, creating purchase orders with suppliers, and responding to store printing requests. You will also need to have
printing knowledge to properly recommend technical specs and manage production details for the Garage and Dynamite brands.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of all print-related projects for the Garage and Dynamite brands (including material and supplier research, testing, quotes, requisitions/orders, press/quality approval, and delivery follow-up);
- Contact suppliers to secure quotes. use our internal system to create purchase orders, and follow up on the delivery and reception of items;
- Manage the quotes, orders, and budget for each individual print-related project with suppliers;
- Manage and update the distribution lists for all print-related projects (store distribution list);
- Manage print production for store openings and relocations for both Canada and the U.S. as well as coordinate on-site delivery and print-related individual store requests (Jira tickets);
- Keep the production schedule up-to-date for all print-related projects and readjust timelines as required;
- Analyze projects and assist in problem-solving pertaining to distribution lists, printing, and delivery;
- Attend press approvals and validate that the quality is up to standard, with help from the graphic designers;
- Advise alternative solutions to print projects with respect to processes to save on costs and time as well as to provide better value or improve quality;
- Communicate with your Manager, interdepartmental teams, and printing suppliers to ensure the successful completion of projects;
- Create store surveys;
- Install printed components in the mock store and in stores if needed.
Qualifications:
- College degree (DEC);
- 2+ years of experience in a coordination role;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec;
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Great team player;
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask.
