Job Summary:
As the Sr. Manager of Cybersecurity, you will lead the overall infosec governance for Groupe Dynamite. You will work in collaboration with IT resources and business stakeholders to ensure the proper coordination and mitigation of identified incidents. Vulnerability first response, threat hunting, and automated workflows are also part of your role. You will also develop and champion the company’s cybersecurity program initiatives while ensuring compliance with performance and transparency obligations. The Sr. Manager of Cybersecurity is a key member of the IT Leadership team, so you will act as a valued advisor to the CTO, CEO, and Advisory Board to constantly improve the company’s security posture. The job holder will manage a team of 2 employees and be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the evolution and optimization of security processes and support activities related to information security and security governance;
- Develop, implement, and communicate policies, procedures, standards, practices, information security, and guidelines;
- Liaise with the parties concerned so that the new regulatory requirements are communicated to the right Managers;
- Provide accountability on key information security indicators and lead the development of the information security strategy and the prioritization of security program initiatives;
- Monitor trends and best practices in cybersecurity and keep business stakeholders educated on the associated risks and best prevention practices;
- Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures;
- Support the IT Department in defining, selecting, and implementing security-related controls;
- Communicate organizational objectives, and inspire, motivate, and train team members to
- follow and achieve organizational security standards;
- Conduct tests on the current system to determine vulnerable areas;
- Generate security reports to evaluate the efficacy of security systems and policies;
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to collect and use information for improved business and operational performance;
- Review and analyze data from multiple internal and external stakeholders;
- Communicate analysis results and make recommendations to relevant stakeholders;
- Provide Management with compliance issues regarding key business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Passionate about information security;
- 8 years of experience in IT technology or operations;
- 3 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership;
- Certification in Information Security practices and policies (an asset);
- Experience in data governance and information management;
- Knowledge of data governance practices, policies, and procedures;
- Understanding of security hardening, patch management, pen testing, vulnerability testing, Windows systems/applications, network concepts, and web- and public-facing systems;
- Experience with security-related technical tools (SIEM, EDR, Cloud consoles, asset management, vulnerability management, etc.) and processes;
- Experience and/or interest in Windows and cloud system security;
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills;
- Self-motivated and independent;
- Curious and analytical;
- Results-oriented with a proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving;
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure within tight deadlines and changing priorities;
- Team player with the ability to work closely with diverse groups and working styles;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships;
- Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, when required.
