Sr. Director – Customer Acquisition

Job Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and performance-driven Senior Director of Customer Acquisition to lead and scale our customer acquisition engine. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, this high-impact leadership role is responsible for driving sustainable, profitable customer growth across paid media, SEO, affiliate marketing, and marketing analytics. This role also includes overseeing the product management of our customer acquisition and web I (upper funnel) pods, aligning marketing, technology, and data to optimize the entire acquisition funnel.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Own and evolve the end-to-end customer acquisition strategy to drive new customer growth at an optimal LTV/CAC
- Build, lead, and mentor a worldclass cross-functional acquisition pod including a Paid Media and SEO team, an Affiliate Marketing team, a Marketing Analytics team, and Product Managers
- Partner closely with Brand, Finance, Product, and Tech teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives and KPIs
- Optimize the channel mix and budget allocation
Channel Ownership
- Oversee strategy and execution across search, social, display, and video
- Lead technical and content-driven SEO efforts to increase visibility and organic traffic
- Expand and optimize affiliate marketing programs and performance-based partnerships
- Help optimize content created by other teams, including photography, video, and copy
Analytics & Optimization
- Own acquisition performance reporting and marketing attribution across all channels
- Own and drive our decision system to optimize our media mix allocation
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities through experimentation and testing frameworks to improve revenue per web session
Product-Led Growth
- Collaborate with the Product Manager embedded in the acquisition pod to prioritize and launch conversion-driving features and optimizations
- Drive upper funnel web improvements (homepage, product listing page, and product detail page) to improve revenue per web session and ROAS
- Influence martech and analytics stack to support acquisition strategies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital acquisition, or performance marketing, preferably in E-commerce
- 5+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams including direct ownership of paid media, SEO, affiliate, and analytics
- Strong understanding of media buying, digital attribution, and E-commerce KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rate)
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets with a clear track record of driving profitable growth
- Comfortable working with technical stakeholders and understanding martech, A/B testing, and data pipelines
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and ROI-focused
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- MBA or equivalent is a plus
